Dana Projects

Dana has been declared as a protected reserve by the Jordanian Royal Society for Conservation of Nature (RSCN) and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The project aims to help Nature and people at that region. It consists of a number of projects concerning the Environmental conservation and the community development.

 At the end of the village a guest house was built to serve tourists, next to it another building was placed which contains offices, small museum, shop selling locally made glass, jewelry, and crafts.

At the village the people were helped to restore and build  number of houses and buildings such as the village mosque.

Down the Wadi a camping area was made and services  buildings were built.
