Design of interpretation facility with services (Tourist, Giftshop, Kitchenette, Parking), as well as a suspended viewing platform.
The project also includes an adjacent site with camping facilities of 20 specifically designed tents and hammocks, bathroom facilities and reception / common lobby with restaurant area and kitchen.
Interpretation center applied light structure with minimalist appearance sensitively proportioned to harmonize with the mountain background and Mujib gorge.
The camping facilities utilized Jordan's first example of straw bale architecture for maximum thermal insulation. As for the tents and hammocks, a special design was achieved to produce a tent that is suitable for the extreme temperature for the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea Environment. Campsite also involved landscaping rehabilitation and small wooden dock for boats.
