The Amman Nature Center is being constructed for the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature, funded by the USAID, as an urban destination for explaining the concept of nature conservation and promoting related craft projects.

With its dramatic location with a commanding view of downtown Amman, the building and its site are working together to create a complete experience based on the visible dialogue between the natural and built environment.

This is one of Jordan’s few projects in which the site and the building co-exist, without one dominating the other.

This building takes into consideration environmental and ecological issues, as well as incorporating interactive, interpretive function and community participation.
